The Kinderhaus program runs for 11 months, starting each year at the end of August to the end of July, with a 4 weeks break in the summer. Additionally, the school observes a two weeks break in December, and a one week break during the spring. For a full list of holidays and closures, please see our school calendar here.
Our monthly tuition is based on the number of sessions a child attends at the school. Kinderhaus requires enrollment in a minimum of 3 days per week per child.
- Kinderhaus is open from Monday through Friday.
- Our regular program runs from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
- Newly enrolled families can opt out of aftercare (3 pm – 5:30 pm) for the first six months of enrollment.
Families are responsible for full tuition for each full month of the term, regardless of whether the child is absent due to illness or vacation, or if the school is closed for holidays. In July and August, tuition is prorated due to the summer break, which means you will effectively pay 11 months tuition in a school year. Early departure from the program may result in a forfeiture of the student’s deposit. Extenuating circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the school.

**Kinderhaus believes full day enrollment is best for German immersion and development of social skills. A shorter day is available for newly enrolled families for the first six months of enrollment.
Drop-in fees
Drop-ins are available as space permits. The cost for dropping into the regular program is $100 per day. The cost for dropping into the after care program is $50 per day.
